Mircrosoft has stated that they do not plan on making a handheld. Ever.

That was cool to see at first, but a BIG design flaw of that "mockup" is the analog controls arn't flush, so the thing cant actually close. Who knows how that shape would feel in your hands... cool, but probably not going to happen.
