So we were discussing this in another thread, so I decided to make a topic based soley on this. Which is better for First-Person Shoopter? PC or Console? I would say PC hands down because of better controls and Graphics. What do you guys think?

oh yea. i choose console beacuse i like how the controls are VS a PC mouse control. :) i know that everyone is going to disagree with me tho

I can sort of see what you're getting at here. I think PC controls are a lot more fluid, but Console controls I think are a lot more comfortable.

This is a no brainer. PC wins hands down. You cannot compare two thumbs with two arms lol.

For the time being, I prefer console.

But back when this computer was worth a damn, and was ahead on the graphics/speed department I was only a PC gamer. That lasted a few months. :roll:

If I get a new PC, then it's definitely all about the PC gaming. Until then, my console that doesn't need to be upgraded and such is the way for me.

I prefer usesing my pinky finger to crouch instead of pushing down the left joystick :wink: . Besides imo I just like the controls better until the game starts to lag :p

Your missing the point. Upgrading your PC has nothing to do with whats better for FPS games.

You can also use a joystick on a pc, for those which are technically retarded.

For all that like consoles better because you like the controllers..all you have to do is get a usb cord, cut the end off and solder it to a xbox controller and download the drivers. There yah go. The need for a controller doesn't matter. The only thing that in my mind, sets consoles apart from pcs and that if you ahve a crappy computer. Or the people that have a crappy computer and think/say they have a good computer. Pc dudes, better graphics and controls!

perfer console because you dont have to upgrade your you parts I prefer PC because with a console you CAN'T upgrade your parts.

Consoles are better to me because the controls are easier. I tried playing Halo CE on PC with a 360 controller and its not the same because you can't use the same button for two actions. You can't switch weapons and reload with the X button. Eventually I ran out of buttons and had to use the D-Pad to reload and enter vehicles and turrets.

i chose console as I've always just preferred playing fps games like halo etc with the controller

maybe for me its due to comfort, my PC setup isn't what you'd call comfortable

I'd have to say the PC.the keyboard and mouse combo is way more comfortable than the controller.
