Im not very impressed by this game. Mototstorm blows this away in my opinion. I like open roads with multiple routes. Not this straight forward curvy track type racer.

Well you might like it alot more than me. I have played alot of Motorstorm and if you havent played it then you wont know what your missing. Dirt just feels like I am limited with what I can do in the game. I need my open areas, multiple routes, and changing terrain. Plus Motorstorm lets you drive as a Hummer, Buggy, Dirt Bike, Quad Bike, Rally Car, Big Rig, Monster Truck, etc. I may play with the demo some more but its hard to get into when you cant reach top speed and constantly spinning out or having to make a tight turn with not enough room for all the vehichles.

Holy ****. I downloaded this demo and have been playing it for the lst half hour, I think its awwesome. It is really fun to play and seems pretty realistic. It also has pretty good graphics. Lets hope they improve the full version game over this too though..

The full version of Motorstorm SHOULD kill this demo, hands down. I have played the demo of motorstorm, at Wal-Mart lol, and I liked it a lot. This demo is pretty dang good for a demo. If this is an indication that the full version will even be better, then this MIGHT be a "must get from a friend" game lol.

Agreed for sure. I played this demo for a while and had so much fun, and as you said, the full version can only improve, and that would make for a good game.

After playing Motorstorm, even only the demo, I know what you mean. The steering takes a little time to get used to. The same way I am used to RidgeRacer 2 on the PSP, compared to NFS Carbon. Once you adjust to the gameplay, it seems to be a pretty entertaining game. I will agree that Motorstorm is a blast to play though.

I think motorstorm is cool because you can steer with the controller, but I have the 360 racing wheel so it crushes motorstorm. The wheel makes this game (and Forza 2) so intense! Especially with the buggy, when you land that jump and the steering wheel reacts making your whole lap shake and arms move, its really fun! Plus my tv sits eye level from my couch perfectly, so in car view with the wheel right on my lap and force feed back make this game quite a fun experience.

It's not my best time. I've gotten 1:10 for a lap. I am not sure how that compares to others times, but I'm getting better. I should have it down to under a minute if I continue to practice.

I haven't checked this game out yet but it got a 9/10 in OXM. Also... DiRT is derived from the for the grade school equation "Distance=Rate x Time"
