Also, the lightscribe really sucks. Takes special media, and takes forever to print.. 20-30 mins per disc. Buying CD lables and using a basic inkjet printer is a helluva lot better than this. You should pass on this one.

I didn't get it for the lightscribe. I got it 8x DVD+R DL.

pfft... NEC is amazing... I would go NEC over the samsung anyday... your money though. All my NEC burners are doing just fine.

Wow, thanks Rage. I just snatched one. My current DVD RW is broken so I need a new one. $30.00 is a good deal just for a DVD RW!
