Should I Buy A PSP or DS?

I know most of you here are from PSPF so your going to say PSP but post your reasons and such. I've owned both. Got rid of both due to lack of games but there seems to be some good ones out now. I just can't decide which one has better games. I really want to play Metriod Prime Hunters and New Super Mario for DS and maybe the new zelda game coming out but beyound that there isn't anything. For PSP I'm not even sure what games I'd want but I love the system so it's tempting none the less. What good games are there for the PSP and DS? I like racing games, shooters (but bad controls piss me off) and SOME RPGs.

Both the psp and Ds have their pros and cons. Ask yourself what you really want out of this system. If you want it purely for games then go for the ds, if you want it for all the extra features then go for the psp. While the graphics on the psp surpass those of the ds greatly it seems as if the ds is just more fun to play. If you like racing games then the psp has great games such as Ride Racer and soon to be Gran Turismo. The psp also has great shooters such as Socom and excellent action games like GTA: LCS.

At this point it seems as if I am saying that the psp is a far superior system but the ds will be getting Final Fantasy III in the near future and that is an amazing rpg. Also, you can't deny the pure awesomeness of the entire Mario series.

I am the owner of a psp and dsl and I love them both in their own ways. So at the end of the day it really just boils down to personal preference.

i agree with wes. They both have their pros and cons. i think the games for the ds are more fun as they are pick up and play (for most)

I have both i say buy both. I didnt get my DS till recently but its pretty cool, My PSP still does alot more, but DS is only $129 so u might as well get it.

Yea I might get both eventually but yea I'm leaning more towards the DS right now.

I can tell you one thing for sure, the ds is addictive. I can't stop playing animal crossing.

The choice is entirley up to you.
But if it were me id pick the psp.

If i was you i would get a PSP, i think they are a lot better and better games and you can run Homebrew.

well from what ive learnt using this new intergrated forum i have to say the psp.
only because you can have movies music and internet a lot easyer with it.
to be honest the games come last on the list of uses for my psp, plus you can just download stuff to your memstickduo and play it easy enough

i have a PSP and my bro has the DSL, but lately I havent been playing my PSP at all really. The DS has funner games IMO. Plus it's only $130.

And don't forget with a flash cart you can have as much homebrew as the PSP. Listening to music, watching videos, and playing your favorite games for the DS and the GBA from a flash cart. The DS will also be getting the Opera Web Browser soon

Get a DS, main reason it has better and more fun games than the PSP. The PSP lacks great games. The ds is cheaper so you can use the extra money to buy games for your ds.
