Thinking about buying a 360

ok this is in the wrong section but realy it doesnt fit in any of them. Anyway i realy want a 360 now becuase you can play your backups. Im out of work for the moment so only have £150 saved up i was wondering if the core pack is a good deal


the core pack with a limited edition faceplate and game is only £200 new meaning all i have to save is £50 (would only take a month or somthing to save that up)

the premuim is £280 so im well off being able to afford it

im not goin to be playing orginal xbox games a wireless controller doesnt appeal to me (i cant afford batteries : >) and i arnt realy botherd about live until i can get enough money together to afford the subscription (I WILL GET IT EVENTUALY) and i wont be using the wired ethernet i want it wireless.


so realy should i get a core like in the next few weeks or save for a few months and get the premuim even tho the extra features dont appeal (altho the hardrive does)


also can i buy a HD? and how much are they

Hard drive is 99.00 (USD). The premium cost the same as the core+hard drive, then you get the wireless controller and hd vga cables basically free. But if you say that stuff doesn't appeal to you (I could never do a wired controller again) then you answered your own question...

yeh good choice mate, you cant go wrong, my 360 is one of the best things i have ever bought but to really benefit from the 360 you need to really have a HDTV!

I'd wait for a PS3. It's just around the corner.

The PS3 is not going to be any better than the 360. It sounds like the graphics won't really be any better than the 360, i mean nothing will beat out Gears of War in the graphics department that the PS3 has. The Wii is the console that I would wait for. It is going to be cheap, innovative, and the launch lineup looks like it will be awesome. Games like super smash. bros. brawl, Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Red Steel and more should be available.

ahhhh, a soccer fan. I don't see why every country except the US thinks soccer is such a great sport. There is rarely any scoring in a game and it is just watching players go back and forth.

when you score like 5 or more (touchdowns hoops home runs) it realy doesnt mean as much

Get a Xbox 360 if you like the games, graphics are good. The core system sucks, you won't be able to play live unless you buy a HDD or a memory card which is $40!!! And it has no memory compared to the HDD 20GB $100

It is so boring though, I like defense as well as offense, but that little of offense is just a snooze show. Also our athletes works just as hard. The fact that you can only use your feet is just stupid. Sorry, soccer is just not that great of a sport, IMO
