2 GOW questions that need answering

1. For the achivement "Around the world" where you win a ranked versus game on every map,do i need that new map pack to get this achievement or not?

2.For the revives achievement could i go into a ranked match with friendly fire on and keep knocking my team mates down and revieve them?

1. No you do it on the originals. Not including discovery channel ones.

2. Not sure. I dont see why not
