it looks like mario is winning so far, but i must admit it doesn't suprise me much, most people go for the classics :)

i will admit i do enjoy the mario collection i also enjoy the metriod verry much however my voet goes to the legend of zelda i love this game and i have devoted many hours to it and still have never beaten both quest i have beaten the first quest but i have only made it to temple 6 in the second quest the others i have beat and one thing that makes a game for me is difficulty :D

You inconsiderate people, Metroid was the greatest platform shooter ever. I mean, Mario had its good points to but the same story line over and over and over again tends to get boring. I dont care if they add new features, change things around, send him to space, although I think there was already a game like that. LOZ games are great too but they need to convert it to an RPG, man would that be freaking sweet.

Metroid is cool! I got the Classic NES Series Metroid for my Gameboy Advance SP! The Metroid series is great! :)

AS for RPGs, play Dragon Warrior 1 and 2 for the Gameboy Color! I have been having a blast with it! :)

Personally, I have no problem with the Zelda series and Mario. :wink:

I think Ive heard about Dragon Warrior before, though Im not too sure. I never really looked to Game Boy for RPG's except some FF games.

You should try the Dragon Warrior games! I never gave Dragon Warrior a chance back in the NES days. Now I wished I had. As for the Final Fantasy series, I missed out on alot of good gaming. :( I want to get into that later on. The RPG gaming bug bit me hard! :)

Thats cause RPG games are very addictive. Many games offer a replay value which many gamers love, especially me. For instance, the Star Ocean series, I played for SNES before and I loved it and just wanted to play more since it had its good replay where you could change certain.

If this wasn't in series then it would be Goldeneye 007 for me, but in series it has to be The Legend of Zelda series.

I have to say... I hate the zelda games

They have horrible plots, and they always involve gathering x items of value to resque some dumbass princess. Not only that, but the ga,e itself is horribly stale.
