wii sensor bar candle question

so let me get this straight, you just light some candles in front of your wii and that's your sensor bar? does this work with glovepie scripts that use a sensor bar?

Oh. Wow. I feel stupid. Heh. heres what somebody said as a reply:

You know the wire on the wii sensor bar, that only provides power to 10 IRLED's in the bar. the IRLED's give out Infrared light, that the wiimote uses to determine the location of the wiimote. Candles also give out Infrared Light, so therefore work the same. I have tested the Candles, Flash lights, remotes, DIY sensor bar.
