why do i have to delete contentimage.xbx, etc

when i mod a map and place it back in its directory on my box's hdd, why do i have to delete contentimage.xbx, contentmeta.xbx, and the patches? its just annoying because i cant test my modded maps by myself, i need someone else to select the map for me.

Well ya I have run in to that also.... it is very annoying, but I think you need to make a patch. And don't ask me patches make me cry lol

i dont need to do that because your maps arent very well edited

No SP HALOMAN is just gay and doesn't want the maps to be modded in matchmaking. Don't delete anything in the folder, and you can play the maps yourself and in matchmaking.
