Are Xbox 360's still worth the buy?

In my opinion, i think you would be set if you had an xbox360 and a wii. i would get the 360, i want one so bad

tell your friend if he buys one to keep microsoft customer service in his cell phone book, because you will have to send it back and forth alot due to overheating issuies and such.

Not all consoles have overheating issues.

I would say definately get one as the console is great and the games are awsome plus the online play, XBOX LIVE!

Definitely Xbox 360's are in. Possibly the best console right now, with all the gaems out, and all the new ones soon to come out. I would tell him to get one if I were you. And no, not all 360's break right away, so dont let that change your decision.

I have had my 360 for over a year, no breakage yet. Make sure you get a replacement warranty though, just in case. I got my xbox 360 for like 370, then it was 45 for a 2 year replacement warranty, so if it ever breaks I can just bring it in and they will replace it no problem.

Never trust a is a 360 good comment from a guy with a big PS3 in their sig :-) i have both the PS3 and 360 and play the 360 10:1 over the PS3 i think the PS3 will be a great console in 6 months but for now get the 360 with Gears & Forza and you'll be set for a long time.

Definetly worth it. I have had it like since day one, and I love it.. The games.. The Marketplace.. Everything about it is awesome. Plus the elite's out, if you're "friend" like black, he can get that.. But me? I'm a classic white 360 guy.

I agree w/ the white over black! I can't compare this to any other next gen systems b/c I haven't played them but it has satisfied me enough that I don't care to buy another system.
