View Full Version : Worst system ever?
me and my bro had an amiga cd, which tecnologicaly was a diamond, you could play picture disks on it way back when the graphics were beautiful and it loaded pretty quick.
but it had about 10 games, the only one we owned was the beautiful looking "beneath a steel sky" which we got completly stuck on in about 20 into thew game and our dad refused to buy us another game until we clocked "btss"
needless to say the system "accidentally" got dropkicked
I don't know what the industry would call the worst system ever, but I'm willing to bet there are some bombers out there that we never heard about.
I had a 3D0 when it was first released. ;)

Sega 32x was the worst system ever.

TurboGraphx16 was pretty bad. Other then Millitary Madness, that system sucked.
ha ha ha i had clean forgot about the 32x, megacd was more of a different loading system than full system, it was bad too though

I suppose it really depends what falls under the term system but, to name something that wasn't already said, I've heard the Virtual Boy was very unpleasant. Supposed to be like a headache generator, though I can't say from personal experience, as my attempts to play one have all failed miserably.

Virtual boy rocked! That is if you didn't mind strictly red games... I never got too bad a headache from it even though I didn't break for 15 minutes after every 1/2 hour of play. Sega CD wasn't all that impressive though...

I would definently say the virtual boy. You could go blind if you play that thing for to long. (Though you probably wouldn't because it sucked so much).
about 10 years ago a mate leant me this big old lump a shit, i think it was called a phillips cdi or something.
it was so wrapped up in the fact it could play video cds that they forget to add any playability to the games, he had about 20 games and they all had absolutely no point at all to them, except 1 was like a voyeur game where i think you just had to try and catch birds undressing through their bedroom window, which was quite good.
i gave it back in disgust after about a day

There you go, Phillips CDI.
I'd have to agree that was the worst system ever. Those 20 or so games you played were probably the only ones ever made for it.
What a piece of shit.
wow i cant believe anyone has heard of it!, i thought he was the only one unfortunate enough to buy it

i still have my virtual boy, mario tennis and some wario game, I thought it was am ok system.
Sega Saturn sucked, I remember when it came out and almost got it, then i saw the PSX and went with Sony.
Jaguar 64 was pretty bad too.
there was one game on the saturn i liked, was it fighting vipers or summat?
you had armour which you had to bash off your opponant first, it was a cool lil fighter and the bird who had skates on was hot!
I would say the saturn as well, that thing just drop like a rock after it came out

I adore my Sega Saturn!!! That's one of my favorite game consoles and I really want to play NiGHTS. I LOVED Bug and Virtua Fighter!!! Plus there was this uber wicked racing game that I forgot the name of but it was soooo cool. It was like this floating motorbike game thing.. man that game rocked.
Worst I would have to say.. hm... worst that I've ever seen would be the N-Gage because it looks like a taco... and... yeah.. Im only 13 soo I havent had much experience with older systems.
BTW even though I adore sega... I never liked the CD console. From the gamecube gems collection the Sonic game rocked though.
Oh boy, the N-Gage was horrible.

Worst System ever in my opinion would be the Virtual Boy. The only decent game was Mario Tennis. And lets not forget about Tigers Game.Com I bought that piece of crap. Hell I still have it lol.
Hanzo - The 32X wasnt a system. Its just an attatchment to the Genesis to play slightly better games. I loved it personally. Huge difference playing NBA Jam TE. Now the Sega CD was pretty shity too.
Remember those old Philips CD-i infomercials? They were on real late. The Saturn was a good machine and wasnt that much different than the PSX. The Saturn controller didnt help the system out too much. 3D0 was ridiculously overpriced and the games were more of what the sega cd offered.
