Found this on another site

First look at this URL: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...Details.asp?EdpNo=1273340&sku=ULT31847 (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1273340&sku=ULT31847)

Ok?

So there was this special offer on Tiger's site where you buy a video card and an X-Finity 600W at the same time and save $40. OMG! You mean I don't need a stupid rebate?!?

But I don't need another video card.

Bored out of my skull, I found that you can take the video card out of the shopping cart and still save $40 on the PSU.

Huh?!?

I found out that the link at the offer added a "&srccode=nvda" to the URL that changed the price of the power supply. To see if this would work without clicking through the video card link, I opened up Mozilla (I was using IE) and put in the following link:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...dpNo=1273340&sku=ULT31847&srccode=nvda (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1273340&sku=ULT31847&srccode=nvda)

The price of the 600W is permanently changed to $59!! Hahaha!!! No strings attached!

How long until they figure that out? http://forums.anandtech.com/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

You probably heard that about the Youngyear built X-Connects model. That thing damaged Ultra's rep worse than the Hindenburg damaged the air ship industry.

The 600W X-Finity is built by Wintech and is a totally different animal.

I wouldn't buy that if it was only $10.

Why is that?
It's cheap and unreliable for my specifications.
