This game was released today and its another 2K Sports title. This is definately one of 2K's better games. This season you get more of a realistic feel of the game. You get to hire coaches and even create the owner of your team. There are also nice locker sequences before every game and some nice intermission recaps sponsered by Dogde Ram. The game keeps an old school feel in terms of gameplay. Simple controls like hit,pass,deke,turbo and check.
GRAPHICS
Very detailed. You can see sweat dripping from the players face. Individual fans react to the gameplay. Jerseys ripple and the ice looks incredible.
SOUND
All the sounds you would hear at a hockey game and a nice option to listen to music instead of commentary.
CONTROL
Great classic feel. Anybody can pick this up one and start playing. The skaters move flawlessly and one-timers are easily executed.
FUN FACTOR
Ive only played one game but I have already been blown away buy this one. I cant wait to hit up all 82 games this season. The default difficulty may seem too easy but once you up the level the game gets much harder to keep you wanting more.
SUMMARY
If your a hockey fan then you should definately give this one a go. Might possibly be the best hockey game to date.
