lol! I have 2k6 and like it better than nhl 06 but I really want to see what the new controls are like for NHL 07...

I never realized that it was out. Cool, could someone who has it for the 360 tell me how it is. Hockey games are fun. I don't really feel like playing it until hockey season when I am in the hockey mood. Right now I am in a football mood so I am playing NCAA football 07. Rented MLB baseball too because the Twins are DOMINATING!!!!!!!!!!! WIN TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!

It must be a matter of opinion then, 'cause I tried them both out at the vid store, and I liked 07 a LOT better than 2k7. Even the review sites, IGN, Gamespot, etc., chose 07 over 2K7. You may like it better. However, I think you'd be in the minority.

You know what's funny... I was a big fan of the NHL series for a long time. One day I went to game stop and bought 2k6 instead of nhl 06 and didn't like it that much at first. Of course they didn't let me return it so I played it again and was hooked! I liked it MUCH better than nhl 06 after I gave it a shot...

Yeah once you get a bit more used to them they are alot better.

And for F34R I was supposed to be in a league for NHL 07 but since the league owner liked 2k7 more, he switched the legue. So I guess Lethal isnt the only one lol.

Okay... bought NHL 07... i'm in love! It has some annoying glitches (offsides way too much, a regular loss in dynasty mode will sometimes give you an ot loss point, goalies let by crap goals sometimes) but hopefully these can be patched via a Live d/l. I love the skill stick and I could never go back to button pressing again! It's more of a sim than any hockey game has ever been and the shoot outs and one on one opportunities are boss! Great game!

ok ive never watched NHL in my life i have no intrest in american sports

my mate says this game is great! would i be ok just picking this up and playing or is there a sharp learning curve?

lol! You could get by just picking up the game and playing but it helps to know the positions... you don't want to skate your defense up ice to try and score b/c then your temporarily week on defense. Helps to know the rules to (like offsides and stuff)...
