Connecting with windows media center?

Has anyone else tried this? I was on my laptop and something popped up about connecting my laptop up with my 360. Is it worth it? Can I like transfer things to my xbox from my laptop via my WIFI connection?

I dont have a wireless adapter, I have my xbox plugged into the back of my wifi router though.
