I am considering getting a 360 core, for £100, i was just wandering, where could i get the emulation software for backwards compatible old 360 games?
The xbox.com site seems to be down.
I ask this because i don't want to get the 20GB 360 hdd for a rip off price of around £65, i would much prefer a 250GB hdd for the same price, connected via external usb device.
Thanks in advance.

I was thinking of buying a fairly large usb external hard drive. So i could transfer music to my xbox via computer etc.
I heard about Microsoft sending out the cd free of charge when you sign up on xbox.com but their site seems to be down :(

http://llamma.com/xbox360/mods/USB%20Hard%20Drive%20Mod.htm ?
I understand i probably need the M$ 20GB hdd, but i was just wandering if the same emulation software could be written onto an external USB hdd, so there would be no point in buying a more expensive M$ 20GB hdd.

There isn't a "next" to click on... just download that file, follow the directions on the page link I provided above. That's it.
The site works
also the larger HD from ms is fake, they are not going to do it anytime soon
