That was a great review. It got a 9.1 which is a very very good score. The two things I was kind of dissapointed by was that the campaign is short, and there are no vehicles in multiplayer. Otherwise, I am definently getting this game. Unfortunately, my 360 is with Microsoft currently getting fixed.

Gamestop is a bunch of bastards! I pre-ordered mine like 3 weeks ago. I call em yesterday and they say it'll be in today. I call this morning and they say by 1 o'clock. I call circuit city who says that it got held up in Memphis til tomorrow. I call Gamestop back who also tells me it got held up. My father in law goes in not knowing all of this and buys me a copy. So I pre-order and they say no, my father in law goes in and gets a copy... lying bastards! Anyway... yes, it's a great game so far and i'll be on Live tonight to check that out.

Here's my GOW review:

Bad ass! It has great graphics and excellent gameplay. The best part imo was the co-op over Live. Went on for like two hours! You can host a co-op and pick from any levels you've already completed or you can join someone else's co-op. If you or your partner die then the other must revive you before they die or it's game over. Best game on the 360 so far. 9.9/10. The -.1 point is b/c I had trouble getting into a Live multiplayer game last night but i'm sure that'll be fixed asap...

i picked up my copy, last night (the 9th) they were supposed to have them the 7th of course they did not, had to work all day the 8th so i couldnt get it. but the game is definately awesome. played through training and went to play on line, online is definately cool, much better than the run jump shoot fps'ers. the cover adds a whole newthing to it, plus its nice now because everyone isnt a pro yet so even if your not good you can still do decent. id give it a 9.8/10

although my collectors edition has like 5 dens in the tin, for $70 they should ship these things in padded envelopes,, needless to say i was no pleased when i got home.

omg this game is brillant! ive only played campaign right now but co-op mode is fantatsic! You can jump into a co-op level at any time by invite nothing better then killing some monsters butt with your buddy! We couldnt figure out what to do for the boss on act 1. But finaly we figured it out basicly stand next to the smashable door and let the monster charge at you quickly roll to the side and he smashed the doors.

I actually like the on-line, I just suck at it. It's kind of refreshing having a multi player mode that isn't run and gun. I'm always the first to die... ask vtec, lol!

i love online! for starters no idotic kids (there still playing halo 2)
you have to use tactics
4 on a team is perfect
the maps are simple and are the perfect size
no campers!

and i suck online aswel

couldnt agree more. im not typically your online player beacause i dotn have the time to perfect the skills like everyone else. i sucked pretty good at first but then i started to actually use some tactics and started to take some people out.

Tis' Emergence Day beotches! I beat the game this morning on easy difficulty and now i'm working on medium... Will be on multiplayer from 7-9 EST and hopefully i'll get to play w/ CliffyB. Odds are slim but you never know. If you guys see me on hit me up!

I've beaten the game on Hardcore but the dang achievement system is jippin' me off. It didn't give me any of the Act 1 or Act 4 achievements on Hardcore, because my co-op partner did a checkpoint before I joined in.

I read that on co-op who ever has does the best for that act/chapter gets the achievement, not both people. Don't know if it's true or not though.

How do you both get the cog tags? I've completed the game on co-op and the whole time we had to pick and choose who got which cog tags. In fact i'm running through it again right now to get the ones that i've missed. I have 18/30!

Epic's goal is to have no deathmatch style multiplayer. They want it to remain strategic. I may be on til' 1 EST but it depends on how tired I am when that time rolls around. We should def have a match though...

I won't be able to play much tonite as I won't get home till 7, and I promised the girlfriend I would take her to see the new bond film tonite. So i probably won't get to play until tomorrow.

I just did the part where you have to do the little maze in that facotry where the wood breaks in certain points, that was really really annoying. I only get to play it like once a week now with work it sucks :(

Just found out how to do this with youtube...I was exploring and found a part where you go into FPS mode...lol, you cant see your guy but you aim and shoot. also, a giant puff of random smoke in air....also if you go through transparent mountains, the are invisible on other side but still shootable.....working as an invisible wall.

i did that on hardcore 2 days ago. Just stay outside the station and use the sniper rifle the torque bow is useless for this part

I love the Torque Bow. That gun is fun as hell, you shoot somebody on Live and sometimes they think you missed then they blow up, I always go for that and grenades when I'm on Live lol.

You'll never have a problem getting into a match. You may receive a "connection to host has been lost" error but that's just because the room filled up before you got into it.

Yeah, you need to draw him back towards you so he starts focusing on Domonic, then run like hell to the turret whilst he's wailing on Dom.

Just make sure that you stay in the light. Run like hell so you can avoid RAAM's machine gun. It took me some time for me to beat him. Get the sniper rifle in the room right before you battle him. Look around for it, you will find it. Then take cover behind the first cover place that you see in the cut scene. Everytime the kryll leave him, get some headshots on him. That will weaken him. Keep doing this until he gets close to you, and then run to the machine gun. It will only take a few blows from the machine gun to bring him down.

i just pulled out th eole trusty sniper rifle and blasted him like 7-8 times in the head...then he died. it took me a couple tries. but when i actually killed him it was rather easy. being a master of active reload is critical though with the rifle. plus the damage bonus helps and you also cannot afford to miss either. literally only took me like 45 seconds though.

yes we did it last night. it can be played split screen. they can be a guest or they can recover ther XBL tag on your system and have them log in when in the game.

I know they can do co-op w/ you but not multiplayer live matches. I've never seen a guest playing w/ anybody else on live and I couldn't get it to work.

You can we did it last night. My freind recovered his gamertag on my machine and logged in after signing me out. then we started the game and you can press a the the multiplayer screens to sign in player 2 i select my profile from the list and viola. its a little hard on split screen but we made due.

no he had a live account. have your frined make a generic silver to play games. and leave it on your console. im still pretty sure you can use a guest.

on insane RAAM is quite hard you just have to use torque bow. WHen you fire at him the kryul scatter as soon as that happens swap to your sniper rifle and them blast him the head

I've been playing this game for about 2-3 hours after school today on my friend's XBOX 360, all I can say about GOW is WOW, this game is fantastic and absolute brilliant game, I would rate it 10/10 and it's so easy to get into the game and get used to the controls. I was playing the mission where your military vehicle gets shot or what not and you have to find an entrance to the factory and get into the mines and some other mission and it was awsome!
