View Full Version : Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's PS3 camping I go... *whistle
Just 4 hours till I embark on my journey to the unknown begins. I'll be sitting outside Wal-Mart from 11PM till 7AM. They are only getting 2 60GB PS3's in, and my brother and I are getting them both lol. He'll be meeting me there around 11ish. We'll be stocked with a PSP, 2 DS Lites, and plenty of food and drink to get us through the night. If I can find an open wifi spot, or a not so open one, I'll update the thread via the PSP lol.

When the 360 launched, there wasnt anyone there until 5AM.

Hah, good luck. Yesterday, there were 40 people outside my best buy.
The Wal-Mart near the college my wife attends didn't have anyone there either. I don't think I'll have a problem being the first in line.
Theres been people at my Kmart since wednesday afternoon...

there were 8 people in front of my Target lined up this morning wrapped up in sleeping bags, the thing is that the Target is only getting 6 PS3s, but 33 Wiis, so im definately getting one

i was surprised to hear that people were camping outside my walmart.. people in my town dont usually.. i bet its people that came down from windsor(40 minute drive) since they'd have no luck up there
theres about 20 people at my target, but they only have 10 PS3's,
these people disappoint me, this morning there was no-one, and my and my friend were getting ready and heard that the line was already long. So we tried EB games, but they don't have any, My friend was going to buy 5 PS3, and sell it on ebay, good profit! but unfortunatly we were too late, and plus the news said that ebay are putting up restrictions about the PS3 selling on ebay, I wonder what restrictions, increased fee's?

What about Wii's? There shouldn't be anything against Wii's, if they're after launch.
There's no restriction for either after launch.
Well, I'm back home ALREADY. It seems that an employee has STOLEN both of the systems that they had for sale. Soooo, I'm not getting the PS3 after all. Guess we all got pwned by the employee.

If you don't have a 360, then get a 360 instead. Then you can get Gears of War and play it on Live all the time. You will also save some money.
To be honest, I wasn't even going to play the stupid thing. I was going to sell it on ebay, and pay some bills.
