importing a us ps3 to the uk ?

IF i was able to get hold of one are there any problems i might have?
i.e are the games region coded e.t.c

I think the games arn't region coded but the blu-ray movies are.
I may be wrong though.

If you could get your hands on a Japanese PS3 then I think you would be set, as Japan comes under region 2 for films like the UK

EDIT:I read the region code on Blu-Ray discs is different ie. the US is A and the UK is B, China is C etc.

If you get a Jap one I'm pretty sure the only language is Japanese. I read that on a PS3 forum.
