Rent a GTA title? Why pay an extra 8 bucks for something you should probably buy anyways? My concern is which console I should get it for. All I know right now is that Sony doesn't seem too keen on the downloadable content. What about other console-specific features?

I already have it on reserve, traded in 2 PS3 games and got only $17, and i'm goen the midnight launch at my local gamestop. I don't have school all morning so thats what ill be doing. It sucks that it comes out the week AFTER my spring break.

This is the first GTA I can buy by myself since i began with GTAIII.

That always happens. People go and line up at gaming stores at midnight, and stores like Target have a million copies. Sometimes even for a cheaper price.

I was able to walk into Best Buy and get a copy for the 360 the evening of the release. I've only played Liberty City Stories on the PSP so I'm not all that familiar with the series, but this game blew me away! Lots of fun and very highly detailed! I only got about 3 hours into it and the map is pretty big and I still haven't got a feel for my way around. Still looking for weapons, too! All in all it is highly addictive and lots of fun!

the game is ok so far, nothing AMAZING, its like playing most GTA games, with a few added tweaks. Its a good game, but its not game of the year material or anything, people need to stop getting tea bagged from the hype.

Yeah its a good game, I've had fun so far and gotten a few weird achievements (the Warm Coffee achievement is funny). The multiplayer is good, there's a lot of variety in the game types. The map is easily big enough, smaller than San Andreas but most of that map was countryside.

He's telling the truth there's definitely a mini-golf course. I saw it on the first date too, its near one of the bowling alleys. I'm not sure whether its actually playable though.

Yeah but that lasted for like what 30-45 seconds? on GTA it lasts for 2-3 minutes and gets worse as the alcohol gets processed into your system then eventually gets better. And then the cops start chasing you for drunk driving. That reminds me one time that happened and i left Roman behind with the cops and he kept calling me and i didn't answer and then he sent me a text message that said he wanted a ride home from the hospital and i didn't give it to him and his respect for me went down.

Hailing a cab when drunk is pretty funny, he shouts something like "Hey Yellow Car!", then when you get in the ride home is very blurred.

I'm not that far in, I'm at the bit where you get the second safehouse. Ive just been doing loads of side missions and messing around, I'm not going to rush it.

I just picked up the Collector's edition. The extra stuff is pretty cool. The game seems to start slowly and I'm not that far into it. The graphics are better but I really don't have an opinion of the game yet.

I am at a part where most of my missions are on the second island (Algonquin, not the little Bohan one) but i still got some to work out on the first(Broker/Dukes). One thing i dont like is when Roman or Brucie call me in the middle of a mission and are all "Yo wanna hang out" or something and i have to say no cuz im in a frickin mission! My Xbox live gold just ran out today so i guess i should go buy me a 12 month card this weekend so i can play some cops 'n' crooks!

I read a helpful hint on driving. Use the left trigger to slow your speed somewhat as you approach the turn. Then tap the e-brake button through the turn. This works well for me but it still takes some practice.
