My 360 got the damn red ring of death again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A little more than a year ago my first 360 got the red ring of death so I sent it in, they couldn't fix it, so they sent me a NEW one. Just now, the red ring of death appeared again after my console continuously froze. It's unbelievable how shitty the 360 is made!
I am considering selling all of my Xbox 360 games and just getting a Wii instead because I don't want to deal with this crap anymore.
How much would I get off ebay selling:
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4
Bioshock
Assassin's Creed
Mass Effect
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Gears of War
Virtua Fighter 5
GRAW
Rainbow Six Vegas
Viva Pinata
Oblivion
College Hoops 2K7
Call of Duty 2,3
Fight Night Round 3
Perfect Dark Zero
NCAA Football '07
When I finally get my 360 back from repairs, I am considering selling that along with 2 controllers, Guitar Hero 2 and the guitar hero 2 guitar.

How many hours do you put in it a day? A week? A month?
My total for a month would be like 10/14 hours. I have 2 and none have gotten Red Rings.

I don't play it that much. This weekend I played for an hour at most. I have afriend who has had no trouble and he plays more than me.

I wouldn't recommend getting a Wii at the moment, wait until its games library improves. How well ventilated is the area you keep your 360, and do you keep it upright or on its side?
I friend of mines 360 broke a couple of months ago, he's got it working now sort of. He can play games from the HDD but game discs won't play, I think he is going to try replacing his DVD drive. He had bought his on launch and had modded it so warranty definitely wouldn't cover it.

The two that I've had each laster for close to a year and a half before they died. Anyways, I have decided to stick with the 360 because I will miss Xbox Live and it would suck to not have one when GOW2 comes out.
I am now awaiting for my shipment box to come in the mail.........
I guess I will play my DS until I get my 360 back.

mine is a little over a year old, im getting scared though because it freezes sometimes, it says that the disc is unreadable and the game is brand new almost. and it reads halo3 sometimes wrong and says that it's not a 360 game and asks me to put one in.... so idk if that's usual or what
damn sucks man, only reason thats holding me back from getting one, all i can say is....PS3

Actually, I heard that all the 360's made now have new heatsinks and cooler chips so if you bought one now then there is a very small chance anything bad will happen unless it's your fault. So I am assuming that they will send me a new one because the one I sent will be unfixable and this new one won't ever die on me again.
And Carey, mine VERY rarely froze on me, it just happened like that. There were no signs that it was starting to fail on me slowly so I'm not sure if your problems are signs that it will die on you soon.
