Help needed!

Whenever I play FIFA 08 online and I accept an invitation for a game I cant get past the Select Teams screen. What am I doing wrong? Im probably being stupid but it keeps timing out.

Or "signed out of PSN"? My PS3 constantly signs me out of PSN and gives me connection problems. One of these days i'll sit down and troubleshoot it.
