Yes, if you have an HDTV and use component cables for video. Composite just won't cut it with me.

No, it's still good. But you need to have enough room to be at least 4 or 5 feet away from it.

I would recommend the Wii, and yes they're worth getting, as I've had some time w/ it and Zelda and all I can say that it's Amzng...lol. If you're going to get the Wii, I would recommend getting Zelda or Trauma Center with it.

The difference between 480i and 480p is phenomenal !

All kidding aside;I do agree, that if you have a TV capable of displaying 480p, I'd get the component cables over the composite ones.

IF you have the money to spare, get the component cables... But they are in NO WAY needed, I love my Wii more than Hanzo [yes, I do, I'd bet money on it] and I have a 20'' Insignia TV in my room. Still awesome sauce.

Get one, if you have the ability.

Yeah ok good, I have some 20" TV in my room, that is nothing great just there to show me some shows and games and I was just wondering if its good enough to play a Wii on it.

Do you guys think the whole interactive thing might get old though? thats the only thing holding me back. Oh and also nintendo lacks shooters, which are my favorite.

Not having an HD-tv is a riducilous reason to not get a Wii. I play on a regular TV, so does everyone else I know that has a Wii and nobody complains.

If the whole interactive thing does get old, you can get one of the regular controllers. Also Im sure they will be coming out with more shooters too

Im going to be buying one when I save up a bit more money..... So watch out F34R with your bowling, I mgiht have to beat your record :p :)

The Wii is such a great machine. Me and my wife play bowling every night. My highest so far is a 211 and hers a 201. I really enjoy the baseball and boxing games as well. To be honest, this system could have been priced at $400 and still would have sold out.

I agree LNFS. I've been too busy with the bowling to even bother with Zelda lol. So far, 218 is the highest on these forums ! muhahahaaa... 216 recorded.

I was watching videos for the baseball and it looks kinda cool. Bowling and tennis look awesome! What is the golf like so far though? I hear its not the greatest, but it looks fun.

Golf is ok but not my cup of tea. I love Tiger Woods 07 on the 360 way too much. The golf is tough to play because you cant swing too hard or you slice. Anybody else really sore from boxing? The muscles on my sides that go from your armpit down really hurt.

The fitness portion takes you through a series of "challenges" to gauge your Wii-age. I'll film it tomorrow and put a video of it.

Heck yes man, the lower part of my tricep is sore and that part under my armpit is also, I think I try too hard when I bowl
