Wow, thats gotta suck for anyone who gets banned. Anyways I havent had a problem so far. but my 360 is still fairly new, I think ill just make an external fan mod, I was thinking taking the nyko fan and chopping the bottom off upping the fans and running it off its own power source. I have an Elite though so I dont think it should be that nessesary

I doubt its true. They would lose so much money and oh so many live accounts. There are too many consoles out there with after market fans. The voltage part is bullshit because if you slap a pelican fan or intercooler to your console then the voltage changes. I call bullshit.

nyko intercoolers void warranty too, only if you tell them though. Ill see how it plays out first or buy a cheap core to mod.

Hell I have had lights and modded fans in my console since day 1. And my console stays cooler than any stock console. They ban me for that and Microsoft will have a lawsuit.

Especially since it is kind of there fault since they dont make a console that stays cool enough itself..

Im using the "XE" edition of the nyko, my xbox runs a lot cooler. Also it is redesigned with new stronger wires and a new locking mechanism.

The coolest my console ever ran was when I played it without its lid -convertale style- while I was doing my case mod. It was pretty loud though.

technically they can check voltages, but I doubt anyone actually gets banned for a modified fan lol.
