Publisher/Developer: Nintendo, Tokyo
Designer: Shigeru Miyamoto
Genre: Platformer
Rating: E
Platforms: Wii

Graphics:9.5
The graphics in Super Mario Galaxy really show what the Wii can do in the hands of the right people. (Nintendo of course). They are the best on the Wii and are beautiful. All the different characters, galaxies and enviornments are all done amazingly. One example I wish I could show you guys is on one of the fire worlds your shot over the lava. You're just above it and there is fireballs firing over your head and it all just looks amazing. The only problem I really had are some of the weird camera angles when you're swimming, they sometimes can make you unable to tell what's really going on.

Sound:9.5
The sound in Super Mario Galaxy is really done well. The music is definately what makes the game as stunning as it is. I sometimes found myself humming along to the music while I was playing and even a couple of times while I was just watching T.V. The envirnments and all the things you do in them sound great as well. The only problem I have about the sound is there is very little dialogue. There are a couple little lines here and there but I wish they would have added a full voice cast instead of having to read everything. (yes I can read)

Gameplay:10
Gameplay really stands out in Super Mario Galaxy. The spherical planets that you can run around on, the gravity effects, the star bits, the different comets that orbit different planets now and again, all the different forms Mario can transform into....it just blows my mind.

Fun:10
I had a ton of fun playing this game and you will too. With all the different planets and galaxies to explore and all the different gravity effects, sounds and enemies you will find on those galaxies/planets you're sure to have a blast. It takes 60 stars to complete the game but there are an additional 60 stars to retrieve to actually fully beat the game 100%. It is also fun to play through the game a second time after finding all 120 stars because of a certain thing that I won't mention here.

Overall:10 :wizard:
Overall I give this game a 10/10. It is definately one of the funnest, prettiest and ear satisfying games on the Wii. If you are a Wii owner you have to play this game. It is definately worth a buy and to keep forever and to play over and over again.

i remember the good old days  and the angry stubborn ones lol :mad: anyways what i was saying that this game is the best (exept i would rather have the purple comet in toy time galaxy to be a little easier lol) not only to fully complete the game you need 121 stars but to get the 121st star you need to complete all the missions with Luigi in other words Nintendo didnt make a straight forward game that you get it over easily so you can buy the next game in the shop....NO!....instead they made it tough with lots of challenges to overcome but they didn't make it so the younger Mario fans would have to work up a sweat to figure out whats going on and how to clear the level.

i for one never doubted the mario games but people who mite be new might find this game in the fun zone on the moon!

I loved this Mario. You're right about the difficulty being challenging for everybody but also playable for kids. My son (5 years old) was able to get used to playing this game and it didn't frustrate him like some other games do. I had a blast playing the game too.
