Anyone else heard this RUMOR

I got a message yesterday from someone on my friends list that said he heard supposedly M$ is resetting everyones gamerscore to zero on Janurary 1st! I tried to search online and even on Major Nelson's website and couldn't find anything. Have any of you guys heard about this? I AM FREAKING OUT:w00t::crying:

no its probably just BS. Even if they did i wouldnt care its just game score.

No they wouldnt do that. EVERYONE with a high gamerscore would cause commotion. I guarantee its BS

See thats what I thought too but I have huge problems with paranoia and I totally worked myself up! The achievment system has distorted my gaming experience to where I can't play a game without trying to get them. If they were to do that I would have to not play anygames for the month so I would'nt have to replay them. It's taken me 2 years to get this far!

Now i get a game i like and didnt even look at the achievment list if i get some achievments its just a bonus.

I try to do that but I just can't I've gone too far, lol. I find my self playing and doing something that should warrant an achievement like 10 kills in a row on COD4 and realize I haven't gotten one yet. So I look it up and find out it's not there! So I have gotten so many it's so hard to not seek them out. It would be nice to just play though!

My only guess is they might start making them worth some real value and since so many gamerscores have been fluffed by game saves or boosting they would have to reset them all.

M$ might be doing that to anyone with a modded firmware or something. Who knows.

Meh. If they reset my GS for having a modded box I wouldnt really care, as long as my COD4 level was intact :P
