Advice With MS Tech Support

Ok so my 360 got the red rings and I just called them a few hours ago. They are sending me a box to send it back in but I'm curious about how long it will take. I know there are people on there that have had to send back a 360 before and I was wondering what kind of experience you have had in that regard. Since I've got a ton of interest in buying my Wii off craigslist for like $350+ I was thinking about going out and buying a new 360 while I wait and then sell it when it comes back but if it's only going to be like a month I could probably wait that out. It's just I've heard so many horror stories about it taking like 3 months to get a 360 back and I can't live that long without my 360. lol

Each time the box arrived in about 4 days. Then I was without it about 3 weeks with each of them. One of them took only two weeks though.

:/ Maybe the wisest thing to do would to see if I can scrounge up another $100 if I sell my Wii for $350 and go buy a PS3. That uncharted game is just right up my alley.

You can get the 40gb ps3 with spiderman 3 for 399.00..

Go for the cheap PS3 use it for three weeks and then have the two best consoles as soon as your 360 is back.


Much better then buying a second 360 imo
