How can you save to SD

I got my Wii today, its the UK launch day. I was wondering if there was any way to save games to the SD card without "unlocking" the function online. I don't have a wireless router yet, are there any games that can unlock this function.

What are you trying to save onto the SD card ?

Well it would be saving games for now, I just don't like the idea of having bought a 2GB SD card and not being able to fully utilise it.

I don't have a wireless router, I don't think I could use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector as I believe it needs Windows XP to run(I have Windows ME) and I can't even get the Wii LAN Adapter as it isn't out till spring 2007 apparently:roll:

I'm not really liking the idea of buying a router for £50, but I suppose I could also use it to connect my PSP and DS to the Internet.

well im not sure if you can set it to save right to your SD card but im pretty sure you can transfer them to it in the options things.

When I tried to setup my router I must of activated the SD function, I had a USB receiver connected to the Wii USB port and managed to get a temporary connection but it kept freezing when doing a system update. I will just have to wait till '07 for the Wii LAN Adapter.
