You sure will, I played G.R.A.W on my 42" HDTV and it was awsome, so much better than a normal TV.

if u want HD but cant afford a new TV just buy the VGA cable. This means you can hook up your 360 to your PC monitor. Most standrad CRT monitors will output at least 720p. The cables cost £20 thats what i did

HD is well worth it from what I have seen. My friend has a 60" HD Plasma, it looked okay on that, but on his 37inch LCD HDTV it looked AMAZING compared to my regular TV.

yea

i play mine on a 21 inch CRT monitor its realy realy good. I jave the surround sound PC speakers set up for it aswel (if your Monitor doesnt have speakers built in) i have the 360 set up by the PC so swapping wires is no problem

You need at least 1280x720 resolution.
Most TV's have 1366x768

Playing it on a CRT monitor will only get your 720, with an good HDTV you can ger 1080, there isnt much of a difference that is noticable, but playing xbox on a 21in screen must suck! Id rather spend 1k and get a nice 42in tv.

$1,000 can get you a 42'' EDTV if that is what you mean-:)

Some Sony HDTV's can't accept 1080P via component cable signals, just to let you guys know. Some can, some can't. Mine can

Not very noticable in PQ since the games aren't even 1080P

id rather keep £1000 if its just for gaming. If i owned my own house then a good HDTV would be a great investiment but i play my 360 in my room so spending £1000 is stupid

Well, when i first got my 360 I played it on my 52 inch in my family room. This has HD but i didnt bother hooking it up to HD b/c it was only ggoing to stay there for a few days. Then when I brought the system to my basemen t and used HD on my 27 inch there was an amazing difference. I would way rather play on the 27 inch than the 52 inch if it had HD.

Bostonboy...heard of you before.

Maybe some people just want it simple or just can't afford it. But...I'd rather pay and play on a 26-32in..

you guys can pick up relatively cheap 720P 32" LCD's i bought mine for 850, but have seen it as cheap as 700. also seen other brands/models for as low as $475. to me that isn't much more than what you would pay for a good 20-22" wide screen lcd. and it makes all the difference in teh world. next year im planning on upgrading to a 65" 1080P DLP though :-)

heres a few pics of mine. no action photos sorry.
