New xbox 360 core details leaked

There hasn't been any official announcement yet from Microsoft, but Amazon has already given us a the nitty-gritty on when the Xbox 360 Core's "replacement" will come out. It will be available from the online retailer on October 23rd.

The new Xbox 360 model won't exactly be a radical deviation from the other ones released so far. Indications suggest that it would come with some Xbox Live Arcade games and quite possibly HDMI.

The new Xbox 360 will be priced at US$ 279.99, so if you've always wanted an Xbox 360, this one looks like a sweet deal. And oh, Halo 3's still blazing hot so you might as well get this to play it with if you don't have one already.

Yeh, I thought you were basing the rumor entirely on the image.... hence the slating lol.

Anyway, looks like MS is getting scared of the PS3's insane price drops, power to them for coming up with the new Core pack though.
