So if you beat it on Heroic, you get both normal and heroic acheivements in 1 shot? And if you beat it on Legendary, you get all 3? Thats kinda lame.. but cool.

If it is anything like Halo 2 you have to play through on Heroic to unlock legendary so you would have to play through twice

That's how most games on the Box are that I've seen...if you play at the higher difficulty level, it unlocks the others.

Gears of War was perfect for achievements. If you beat it on the hardest difficulty, it unlocked the same achievements you would have gotten on the lesser difficulties. vtec is probably right though, you'll have to unlock the higher difficulty.
