Which game scared you the most? You can choose more than one game.
I chose Condemned and Fatal Frame series.
Right now it has to be Doom 3. Played at night, alone, dark room = shit in panties.

lmao! I can actually see that! Fatal Frame made me sweat man. Such a scary game. Nothing scarier than dead little kids crawling from under beds and shit.

Condemned was pretty damn scary with certain moments that made you jump like crazy. The ambience was great in the game too which made it scarier.
Silent Hill.
Thats some scary shit in the dark, alone...

Fatal Frame had a few shock moments that got me, and the anticipation of something bad about to happen was pretty high...
But I think Silent Hill is my pick out of these.

Silent Hill has always been creepy to me. Doom is pretty scary too, when your playing alone in the dark. Good idea for a thread Lethal.

Was gonna say Fatal Frame seeing ghostly children and spirits coming after you
but I think Silent Hill wins out for me, being a huge fan of that series, it's downright disturbing and creepy to play late in the night

Has to be the Resident Evil series for me, the GameCube remake was great.

Whichever was the Silent Hill game with the guy running around the town, then into the hospital, with the pyramid-head guy chasing them, gave me actual nightmares. That wins.

condemned mad me sweat and made me jump a few times even though i haven't even finished it yet it still is one of the most suspenseful and scariest games on the 360 especially when you turn a corner and you got this maniac right in your face screaming and bashing the crap out of you with a plank of wood or a pipe etc etc.
Doom3 made my heart pound so much during the first half but the 2nd half was more on to the action side than suspense side still loved the game and it still makes me jump every time a zombie lunges out at me in the dark.
Resident Evil was the first series to make me sweat, jump and make my heart pound so fast first Resident Evil i played was Resident Evil 2 on the ps1 that was pretty creepy for its time but i think Resident Evil remake has to take the cake for being the most suspenseful heart pounding one of all the Resident Evil's just the set out and the music and the zombie sounds really brought a uncomfortable feeling about.
Silent Hill 4 is basically the only Silent Hill i played and it seriously is really creepy and disturbing and you can really tell that they tried to make the enemies really nightmarish and disturbing like they don’t go for the creatures with big claws and teeth that can decapitate you creatures more you would expect to see in a ghost film or something.
F.E.A.R. that little girl freaked me out but F.E.A.R. was more suspenseful in the fact that when you were in a gun fight with those soldiers because you could die so easily it was a fun game though and freaky at times.
Also i just want to add a game that isn't on the poll System Shock 2 i couldn't even play that game at night it freaked me out so bad with those hybrid zombie things walking about and the fact that it was the first game i played where they switch the enemy spawn points every time you start a new game.

Thanks:snarl:
You should try System Shock 2 out if you can get it cheap some where it's well worth the money because my personal opinion the scare factor is alot bigger in System Shock 2 than Bioshock and it's a fun game.

I noticed Clock Tower wasn't voted on by anyone yet. I've only played the first game (PS1) in the series, but it did have it's scare moments. One of the main things was the anticipation of not knowing where that scissor wielding bastard was going to show up at. You also felt pretty helpless from time to time, because the control scheme didn't leave you much to work with. Very point and click.
Definitely not as bad as Silent Hill or Fatal Frame, but it did have it's moments. I wonder how bad they screwed up CT's sequels.

Definitely! Its Resident Evil, even the Movie adaptation of it was so scary and heart pounding because of some surprise attacks of dogs and zombies....

Unfortunately I dont think many people got the pleasure of playing Clock Tower. Its amazing that Silent Hill series has the most votes. Fake monsters trying to kill you? lol Fatal Frame was based off real stories and the ghosts that come after look like something you would really see. I wish everybody here had the chance to play Fatal Frame in the dark by themselves. I bet a lot of these votes would change lol.
