On another forum I frequent, the PS3 chatters were talking about how ugly and crappy the PSN was, and how it needs to be redone. One of the users made this mock-up, what do you think?

I don't think it's so bad. Seems to me easy to navigate.

It's easy I guess.
The load times for stuff suck though. Like scrolling through the horizontal items and such.
Also, the menu looks like something out of a cheesy 3rd party PS2 game.
I just want something more sleek.
Like the 360's Live menu.

I really like that mock up, but its not that bad anyway I dont know what all the fuss is about.

I don't know crap about the PS3's XMB layout, but I noticed it's really similar to the PSP's... Is it possible to just recreate your own layout ? That'd be a cool mod or something.

I don't think you can even do that with the psp.
Your only able to change the icons,fonts battery meter and the volume look.
Your not able to create a whole new menue system.lol

besides, the PS3's firmware isn't cracked enough to do anything worthwhile.

yea thats my feeling on it, i just want something easy to navigate, not like i friken look at it all day, just go in download what i want then leave.

In the picture it says ratchet and clank is a demo, is it a demo in another country because I want to get it.

I dont find it slow, but everything is really unsmooth, and kinds jittery, they need to completely rework the backend, stick some flash animations in there, improve page transition. and get the colours and images up to hi-def.
