Best Game Series of All Time!

What do you think is the best game series of all time is?

Tough one, but im going to go with Mario series since it had sooo many games i was addicted to.

Metal Gear solid gets my pick, but ive had alot of gooood memories with Mario, and MK games, so they would be my second pick.

I love mario, but Zelda seems more epic to me, although, i would've picked Metroid if that was an option, that is my favorite series

Mario for sure. He has spanned countless genres and systems and has always been an enjoyable character. Just imagine Nintendo without Mario.

Don't forget his first incarnation was Jumpman in Donkey Kong. You can't get better than that.

I disagree. They still had StarFox, Metroid, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong... Tonnes of great games.

Anyway I voted for Sonic because Sonic kicks major butt. Nobody's gonna be messin' with the blue dude with a 'tude.

Why is Gears of War on this list? One game is not a series. My vote goes to the Zelda series. Every single zelda game released has been outstanding. Except Zelda 2 (NES) of course.

Elders Scrolls has 2 good games. Morrowing and Oblivion. The other 3 or so sucked lol.
Resident Evil series has always been really good as well.
GTA is pretty good but it seem the last 3 have been real repetetive.
Donkey Kong games have always been great. DK Country series is by far the best in the DK series.
Sonic series really hasnt done anything to make me go WOW!
Halo series hasnt been determined yet. You have to wait for the next game to really vote on that one. The ending of Halo 2 really sucked lol.
MK series has its ups and downs. MK4 sucked and so did Special Forces and that crappy sub zero game.

I voted the GTA series because its gotten better and better with every new game released. I own all of the games apart from the GBA one.
