I know Nintendo is not selling Wii's packaged with Wii Sports starting 2007 but does this mean a price drop? Wii Sports will retail for $49.99 in 2007.

I would'nt count on a 50$ price drop this early on.

If they are not including Wii Sports then it makes sense.

Is wii sports even worth $50.00, I didnt think it had enough gameplay or options to call it a full game.

Wii Sports for 50 bucks? The game seems cheap and flawed to me.

I think it will come out for $225 in colors in the Spring, then $200 for next Christmas.

Here is more info about it. I think it says that a Wii only costs $158 to make. Nintendo will still be making a profit.

Wii Sports is a bonus for buying a launch system. I doubt Nintendo will reduce the price when the Wii Sports is removed from the bundle. The system is selling like hotcakes, and I guarantee it's not because you get Wii Sports free.

yeah there is no way they would sell them cheaper. its not like the system will stop selling. even still at most it would goto 229.99 to make up for the game. but that was a bonus to begin with, not a bundle.
