Man the ending of Gears of war is really hard i just cant kill that RAAM bloke. Ive tries like millions of times now!!!!!!

Yo man, he's actually really easy... All you have to do is make sure you have a torque bow and lots of arrows. Pref. some grenades too if you run out... Thats all it is, torque and grenades.... Just keep shooting him.... And do NOT use the turret, if you do, you wont get the achievement... Also try doing it with a friend, that makes it alot easier...

i'm just saying, if you are trying to get achievements as you go through, you cant use the turret, it cancels the RAAM achievement...

All I did was get headshots on him with the sniper rifle and then we he got close to me, I made a dash to the turret and gunned him down. It took me sometime to kill him too. My strategy is not working on hardcore though. I gave up trying to kill him on hardcore.

seriously guys, i've beaten him 2 times out of 3 tries, it is sooooo easy both times were on hardcore too. All i used was a torque and grenades....

its a fact, no matter what the difficulty you wont get the RAAM achievement if you use it.... if you look at your profile, you dont have it even though you have beaten him...

Well, I just beat RAAM on hardcore difficulty. I died a few more times but then finally did it. I switched off between the torque bow and shotgun. Once he got close I roadie ran to the turret. It only took a few blows from the turret to bring him down since I weakened him considerably with my weapons combo.

You could not have done just that to kill him. I try that constantly but I can never kill him before he gets to close to me and kills me. For me the only way that I can kill him is getting to the turret.

check my gametag ive completed it on insane.

Obviously when he comes close to you chuck a grenade and the run behind the next set of bariers and continue with what i said. Should take around 8 Arrows and 14 sniper riffle bullets

I did it too this morning it was oncasualand its really easy actually. Thanks for all the help on the topic guys in the end i just used the gun with the chainsaw to kill him. im working myself through hardcore before i go on insane atm.

The best thing to do is just keep trying :P

Meh, I didn't think the game was all that great, it was really repetive, and got old really quick.
