i got it and i have to say it is quite good especially for a console rts. the controls are suprisingly simple and easy to use. not as good as using a mouse but that is near impossible. the battles are huge and fun. in reviews it says there are tons of framerate issues but so far i really haven't had aby problems.

well it is a real time strategy game where u build bases and build up troops. u have 100's of troops that u control and u fight other huge armies. their is a good campaign and an evil campaign. there is also skirmish mode. there is really good xbox live play. the first bfme plot was vased of the movies. in this game the northern part of middle earth is being attacked. u are going to mostly control the elven or dwarven armies in this game but sometimes humans. in evil campaign u control goblin armies, isengard's army, and mordor's army. so basically u r fighting huge battles that u see in the lotr movies.

I was planning on getting it, once I get the money. How is it, I was choosing to get it or not if the controls are good. Because I have never played an RTS game on a console before. I played the original BFME and it was awesome. Played it for the PC though, unfortuantly me PC isn't that advanced and the game lagged a bit. Which ruined the experiance. Which is why I'm probably going to get it on the 360.

Oh. I have tons of those games pretty fun. I'll have to rent it to see if I like it.

Yeah so am I. I have the thing at Blockbuster where you can rent as many games as you want for a monly fee. I'm going to rent it, then play it for like 20min, and bring it back, and buy it. ^_^

Well so far, (about what I have heard) the controls are done perfectly. And others say that the game is just fun and has a pretty high replay value.

yes, the controls are well done. the live has high replay value and is supposed to be very fun. the single player campaigns are long and since there are 2 it will take u a while to beat them. even after u beat them u still have skirmish, so u can just turn on your 360 and make your own war anytime. the game is fun and at least on my 360 it runs smoothly. i have bfme 1 for the pc also but it lagged horribly, so it is just great to be able to play a bfme with no lagging problems. u can rent it but if u liked the first bfme then there is a good chance u will enjoy this version

I'll rent it tomorrow from Gamefly, I use to have LOTR: Return of the King and I beat it in 2 weeks. It's good that they made it more challenging.

Well LOTR: Return of the King is not an RTS game. So it's not really that easy to compare the two.

From what GNCNow said, it's a game I would like. I don't buy games at full price though lol, I'll wait for it to become $49.99.

Agreed. It might take a while for the game's price to drop 10 bucks. Get it now.
