let me point out that no advertising is allowed i don't class this as a clan site as it involves much more than 'matches' you should delete this thread and this is the main reason why we still need mods. it takes this pi$$ that theres 4 staff members, one who is defender and 3 very unactive mods yet i was active and got unmodded.

You're mod privileges were taken away? And i'll be honest with you... if somebody advertises another site on here and I like that site I would probably check it out frequently. That wouldn't affect me posting here b/c that would continue... in fact, i'd probably tell the guys at that website about this site which could bring in more members... if we're worried about people leaving here b/c someone advertised another site then maybe we should be more innovative/creative to keep members here and get new ones... just a thought...

I know... but nothing changes about the site so people get bored and check out other sites. For example... I'll bet that when talkvideogames.com starts up it'll be fresh so people won't be so tempted to check out other sites and if they do they won't necessarilly leave this site...

I don't prefer a HUGE gaming forum, just moderate members. With huge numbers of members, you sometimes won't get reconized and sometimes people don't respond to your post, I've experienced this in some other site...

like the others said it can also promote good outcomes as well. if people leave they are bound to do it eventually. ive been on many online forums and often frequent many for the same things. doesnt change my views or oppinions however. cant stop people from doing what they are going to do however.
