Lol, I just checked my local paper and I saw a HDD for $15. I went to Circuit City and that guy had to call them to see if it was true. He said it was a misprint, I went to Walmart and I hoped to get a clerk that didn't know about electronics...but I got a guy that was into gaming, he called Sears and it took about 20 minutes to confirm...So if any of you want to swipe a HDD for $15, you can try and sell it on eBay.

somehow i think this is a misprint. i hope it isn't because i don't have an HDD but it is hard for me to believe something would go down from $100 to $15 so quickly

when you get oblivion you are going to be an oblivion addict like me so you might as well get an oblivion avatar. an oblivion avatar is an improvement over firefox

They did when I went, I went Sunday night when Sears was closed and they also stated that it was walmarts policy to match any printed ad

I just got back and they did not have anything saying the price was wrong. So I took the circular with me and kindly asked for all of the harddrives you have for this price. The guy was shocked at the price and said there is a three harddrive limit so I said okay and he took out 3 hardrives I handed him 3 crisp 20's got change and hung around a bit to look at the overpriced psp stuff and saw the same guy take all the harddrives out of the shelf.I dont even have a 360.

I bet that guy made up the 3 limit because he doesn't want to lose money lol. I would have bought as much as I could but no.

I am going to sears tomorow I gotta see if this is legit! Is it in the sears ad from todays paper or something? I threw my paper in my recycling but I will go grap it in them morning!

So will bestbuy or any stores pricematch do you think?

EDIT - I checked ebay, there is a high abundence of HDD's there right now haha. I could always get these for super cheap at sears, and then head over to walmart and return them with out a recipt for a nice big walmart GC and buy myself a 360 :) I figure I can always return them to sears if I have no luck selling them on ebay or something.

I know nothing about the XBOX 360, but when I read the ad, I knew they made a mistake. A hdd for $15?

I could not find the ad, but I did go to sears, and grabbed an ad from behind a register, I was excited, until I got to the display with a retraction and price change :(

there is no way you will get it at sears, highly doubt you will get any place to pricematch now

Yeah, probably people would have asked already (like me). All you need to do is ask a NON-GAMING associate.
