Intercooler Problems

I opened my gifts early and got an Xbox360 intercooler from Nyko. I installed and it says hardware failure. I unplugged and plugged power supply normally...it works fine. But, I got it to work with Nyko cooler and after 5 min. It said hardware failure again while the 360 was on??? It seems to be the plug in issue...I have to hold it in?

First off... this issue goes away when you remove the intercooler, right? Second... the intercooler doesn't have that snug of a fit for the plug. Mine is loose but it works fine. Try holding it in place...

The intercooler is NOT needed.
They are tricking people from a defect which harms it more.

Well I got one anyway...so i dont care. Its been working fine since I forced it to death hahaha

There is no switch, and when it does work...the fans are blowing air. Its working fine as of now though

If you have an intercooler then there is a switch on the back of it.

LMAO, I have the same Nyko intercooler and im looking at it right now and that switch is not there....

I don't have the switch either... it is a Nyko though. And nobody ever explains how it hurts your 360. It definitely keeps it noticeably cooler and ever since I've had it i've been able to run the 360 for hours w/ no freezing or anything. Until somebody explains how it's harmful i'm convinced that it's good for the console.

You guys have no switch? Never seen one without it. The only thing that would be harmed using the intercooler is your stock fans. The intercooler may cause the stock fans to spin faster and burn out.

Don't waste your money on an intercooler, they don't do jack squat but make alot of noise and look goofy on your xbox. If you that worried about your xbox overheating, just make sure you got a warranty. If mine ever breaks for any reason, I can take it back to frys electronics and change it out, no questions asked.
