I was out at a Target today(yes, the store) in the gaming section and they had there nifty little SP/DS demo station(not really even a station more of a ds/sp on a semi-fexible holder in an unattended area). Anyways I was checking out some of the games and my little brother had run up to the sp and ds. Well I went to go get him and I noticed that both of the screens on the DS had been decimated! They looked as if some had taken a boxcutter or key and just went to town on the screens. You could barely even see through the scratches. Why would you do that. It's just completely stupid. Write what you think.

Some guy at CAG said that he took the stylus and pressed down on the touch screen as hard as he could just to see if anything happened to the screen. I was so pissed when I read that.

I was at a game shop the other day...The guy working at the time I somewhat know...Well, we had a nice chat about the DS, since this is the first time I made it in there since I picked up my DS. Anyways, we began talking about screen covers and scratching, this is where I just got sick. I was looking at his DS, and the top screen was wobbly, not too bad though, and the touch screen was scratched. I would say, that during game play, it would hardly be noticable. He had said that the scratched came from a scratched thumb pad on the wrist strap. I guess that's a thing to watch, since the thumb pad is used to turn the touch screen into an analog stick. Also, by the looks of things, he was really abusing his DS during game play.

Of course, I'm a bit on the "OC" side, so I"m extremely carefully with my DS.

this might sound a bit cold, but if its the display model and not yours, why do you care? i mean i love the ds, but i love my ds more than any other ds, you know what i mean? im not saying id go out and purposly scratch up screens on display models, but they have them as display models for a reason.

ah theres no anger or spite there, im just stating how i feel.

Thats fine, thats what this section is for. I just think its stupid for someone to do something stupid like that. Does it make them feel good, I don't know. Oh and hydroOtter, don't worry. I'm like Overly protective of my DS.

I would never let anything like that happen to my DS. and i bet whoever did that to the display DS was a Sony fanboy. dont get me wrong i love sony but the PSP is making people really mad at Nintendo

I think whoever did it is just an idiot. You gotta realize that at stores like this very young kids can play these things. Vandals can be an issue too.
