gamecube games to own?

my friend just bought a cube and doesnt no which games to get. he bought the damn thing for animal crossing, and he doesnt know what to get next. can we get some suggestions on good gc games? thanks.

Metriod prime 2. Resident Evil 4. The new legend of zelda game when it comes out. Goldeneye Rouge Agent. Prince of persia, Warrior within. All great games on the cube.

wrong. All of these games (will) suck. A kit.,

widn waker, Vj, VJ2, Cubivore, PM2, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Supered monkey balls. are all good.

Pikmin one sucked but two is really good. get Sonic Adventure 2 battle its the best multiplayer game for the GC.

Ok Denis, shut your mouth. As for which games he should buy, tell him to make up his own mind if he isn't planning to buy much. All the games people named on here are good. I don't care if there multi-platform or not. If he perfers xbox over the cube then tell him to stick with it and get rid of his cube(new or not). If he wants to keep it then tell him to get a life and buy some different games. I don't care if its on xbox, ps2, and gamecube, its not going to have anything different besided alittle better load speed and maybe a better frames per second rate making the graphics barely, if any less sloppy. So to say something like Goldeneye or PoP: Warrior Within is better on xbox is stupid because you know what, ITS THE SAME DAM* GAME!

Pikmin 2 is an awesome game, and Pikmin 1 is also good. Super Smash Bros Melee is one of the top games. And alot of others.

Super Mario Sunshine may not have been very revolutionary, but its still a great game if your friend is a fan of platformers. Also definetly get Super Smash Bros. Melee (I got that game shortly after it came out and I'm still playing it :) )

heres a little update on his current situation: he bought super mario sunshine and is enjoying it. he hates metroid prime, and is enjoying the twin snakes and mario kart double dash.

EDIT: and he cant get enough of animal crossing.
