the media for the launch of the psp is giving it emensely positive feedback. I am definatly going to have to find a way to buy one of these sweet things!!!

i agree. All the once original n special sony games r now out 4 xbox aswell. Sony r definatly slippin. I'm afraid the psp is just sony's attempts 2 try summat nu cos they're gettin beat at everythin else

When I was looking at the weekly ads for Best Buy Circuit City ect, I saw that there were some PSP launch titles that were going for 39.99, but most were going for 49.99 :shock: :x ...that made me pretty glad that I own a DS where most games are sold for around $29.99

That may be true, but there is something that dosen't seem right to me about putting out 250 bucks for a handheld system, and then shelling out an additional 40-50 dollars per game.

I'm really starting to think I might want to get one of these. But is it really worth it for $250? I'd like to know because I hate spending a lot of money and if I get a PSP I will have spent half of my money, and if I spend half of my money I would like to know if it was worth it.

ya, and what was with that 3 hour block of G4 sports the other day?! we're GAMERS! most of us don't want to hear about sports and if we do, well thats why they have ESPN! but your still my favorite TV channle.

Yep and like every other show on G4, all the G4 Sports episodes are reruns. Oh yeah, the host of G4 Sports is annoying as hell.

The psp games are all remakes (kinda) of except changed. But it your money i am saving up for a xbox 2 and gamecube revolution

Im fine with my DS especially when the new games come out. Dont get sucked in by an overated PSP when you can save your money and get new kick ass DS games when they arrive.

i have a ds and 4 games not including the metroid demo and i still haven't spent 250 dollars. That just goes to show you how expensive the psp is.

With the release of Nintendogs, I think you'll start seeing some better titles coming out for the DS...I still think that will be a lull in games for both systems...There are so many obsticles to overcome with the hardware and developing games around it....
