I was considering buying a Gizmondo but there is no future in the console as they've begun work on the Widescreen version.

Too many crappy game titles as well and i wouldn't be suprised if Tiger electronics or whatever they're called are close to bancrupsy, decent console on the whole though.

The Gizmondo is a joke. The graphics I could see were terrible. The screen itself looked too dark for normal gameplay. And it costs 400 dollars... for the version that doesnt force you to watch advertisements before turning it off. Then theres the owner, Who smashed his Ferrari Enzo into a telephone pole, completely totalling it. He also has ties with the mafia (swedish I think) and the company (Tiger telematics, not Tiger electronics) is going really downhill because of this system. I think I read somewhere that the company "misplaced" 400 million dollars or something like that... not good publicity if you ask me. And the Ngage was a joke too.
