*Edit- Sorry about everything being together. There were spacing issues. Everything is fine now*

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 was released a few months back. In Tiger Woods 07 you start of with two options. You can either start off as a young novice Tiger Woods or create a custom character and also start off as a novice. When creating you character you will quickly realize that there are endless amounts of customization. From choosing the sound of your voice to the shape of your eyebrows, the customization will blow anybody away. The Tiger Woods series has the most in depth customization of a character of any game in the market by a mile.

After you have created your character you start your career. This pattern has remained the same for all the Tiger Woods games. In past games the aiming system was incredibly easy to master and required minimal skill. This has all changed. Now, the new aiming system forces you, the player to make logical decisions before you hit each shot. The new system is much more challenging than it was before. The putting system has also increased in difficulty, and now is extremely hard to master. The learning curve truly is steep. EA Sports decided to make Tiger Woods 07 into a real golf game this time around.

While EA made the learning curve and the overall game much harder, as you progress, the game seems to become easier and more pleasurable. Even with the stats of Tiger himself, the game does not play as it used to. EA took their time to examine the mechanics of golf, and it shows in this game. Everything that can happen in real life can happen here. Yes, you can hit balls into the crowd and hit somebody. The amount of options and outcomes for this game is truly amazing and should not be overlooked.

Graphics
The graphics are very nice, and the game is fluid. The animations are also very nice and move smoothly. While this game does not exemplify the maximum potential of what the 360 has to offer, it offers extremely realistic graphics that are very pleasurable to the eye.

Sound
The sound is crisp and clear. There is a different sound for every club, and shot type. While the same thing has been around for previous games, EA has made the sounds much more realistic and pleasing. The commentary is nice and funny. Depending on your shot, your character will also speak.

Control The controls are very well done. On the down side, any newcomers to the game might find themselves lost with all the different options. Tiger 07 has added many new features which really allow you to hit the type of shot that you want to hit. The analog stick is also not very forgiving. If you don’t have a steady have, you will find yourself slicing and hooking the balls like there is no tomorrow. This defiantly adds to the challenge of the game.

Fun Factor Even though the game seems too challenging, it is very fun and very rewarding. With all of the 12 courses, you will never really get the feeling of “Wait, haven’t I done this already?” when you play. The amazing graphics plus the endless amount of customization will have you busy for quite some time. This game is a real heaven for any golf fan.

Summary EA focused on making this game into a true golf experience, not a cheap imitation. If you are a hardcore golf fanatic, or even a casual fan then this game is a must buy. The game will offer you a challenge that seems to be missing in many of the games of today. Unfortunately, if you are not a fan of golf, do not expect Tiger 07 to sway you.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. I hope you enjoyed it. :)
