Well they came today and I am not sure if there is a difference really. I am going to snap a few shots of Zelda and you guys tell me if you see a difference. BRB!

Ok after seeing them like this I guess the 480p does show more clearer detail. Even the colors are brighter. You can find the component cables on ebay for like $15. I bought an off brand.

i actually see a diffrence...AND I bet they look better in person, They are probally worth it..

480p looks sharper and has better color.

How's the review on the Blu-Ray vs HD DVD by the way?

Yeah, theres a slight difference in there. Not too sure if its worth the £20 they retail at over here or not though.

lol well I went to buy a copy of King Kong Blu Ray and its $30! I am going to check out Ebay to see if I can get it cheaper. I just cant justify spending $30 on a movie I have on DVD and HD-DVD lol

walmart has psyclone cables for 19.95 here no need to wait and order off-brand. i ordered my nintendo ones the day after launch so i got them when i got my wii.

that's probably just because the second 480p picture was taken a little closer to the screen, the first picture looks a lot clearer compared to the 480i version
