Need Advice.

I need some advice on nex-gen consoles. I am either going to get a Wii or a PS3, that much I do know.

If I get a Wii then I wont be able to get a PS3 for a very long time, plus theres only like a few games I would like, and the system seems very primitive, although fun.

If I get a PS3, I will have to wait to get an HDTV, and I will have to wait ages to sav up for it, and my parents would be pissed coz I spent a lot of moeny on something "that you dont really need".

Advice?

I hate the dashboard, and having to pay to play online. So no, I wouldnt consider having a 360.

I am seriously considering getting a Wii, they seem really fun. And my Dad seems ok with me getting one.

Yea nitrus i suggest a Wii. Everyone i know that has gotten one has loved it, i've even heard people are trading in there PS3's for wii's.

The 360 is a better value console and there's some really good deals on the 360.

There's loads:

Game: XBOX 360 Premium, any 2 games, extra wireless controller 299.99

And if you want you can flash the 360 and get every game for the 360.

Get a 360, it's better value for money, better games, amazing online gameplay.

Don't get a PS3, well to overpriced, games are expensive.

GO FOR THE XBOX 360!

How do you know the games are expensive? Its not even out in the UK yet, and dont listen to rumours. When the 360 1st came out its games were £50 so dont go complaining about the PS3 as soon as it hits UK shelves.

id say get a 360 but oyu dont want that so get the ps3 and get a giant magnet and wipe it on the main tv of your house, this will cause the colours to **** up and it will probably blow you tv. then make your parents buy a new tv and convince them to go hd. (i did this when i was younger but on accident. i had a huge magnet and wanted to see if it'd stick on the tv, it didnt but made cool colours, i wiped t across the screen and it all changed. then my mom came down stairs, saw this and *****ed at me. the next day the tv poped and smoke came out lmao. i was 6, didnt know what i was doing. well we got a new tv out of this

I say get a PS3. Like Pirate said, the Wii will lose it's popularity when people realize it sucks. People are already trading them, plus cash, for a PS3. As for the 360, it seems that people always say a game is only fun on live. Well paying for the 360 and the XBL subscription will add up past $600 soon enough.

I did the magnet thing once, I think I was 8. It was only in the corner so it didn't blow up. The weird colors didn't go away for like a month though. :)
