Gamestop opened package discount

Heres a nice little story. I went to Gamestop and asked the clerk for Mercury. He told me I had the last one and told me to grab the box that was on display. I said "Oh, there is a sticker, do I get a discount?" He said yes. He told me that if a customer gets the opened and last copy of a game and requests a discount they must give you 10% off. Cool story huh? So if you didn't know this then there is a good bargain!

Pretty cool. I work at gamestop and don't give a discount for a new opened game unless it's damaged (the game NOT the case)

I have worked at Gamestop....that disco they dont want ppl to know about.....when you do get last copy and its opened they will give you the 10% gamestop card disco only if you ask and argue.....but some stores give you the disco and you can use your card since the game is in a used state thus giving you 20% off...but that only happens in rare instances

gamestop is the best around me iv found....this is random but i dont give lol...and just to tell u, the members 10% off thing doesnt work on consoles with sux

Its all about Blockbusters Game rush Pre-Owned Games. THey ahve been doing 25% off all pre-owned games, so you can get a used PSP game usually like 34.99 for 26 and change. THats how ive bought the last 4 games i got. Not new but all the ones ive bought have case instructions and in excelent condition since they arent fairly old.
