I think they have to be in .WMV format.

it says the media may not be supported. are you sure its wmv? i try avi and doesnt show up and wma doesnt show up. what do i do?.. all i did was changed the file name from .avi to .wmv. i should probably convert it. when i changed it from avi to wmv, it works on my computer

Your 360 should be able to find them anywhere on your computer, mine does. Just make sure they are in WMV and you should be fine, if not, I dunno...

Make sure it's wmv and it's in a folder that Zune has set up to stream.

ya the movie worked, i had to convert it to wmv and put it into myshareddoucments/shared videos... i want to know how to get tversity to work since it takes so long to convert from avi to wmv. tversity is supposed to convert while you watch it or something.

Thread reborn. I just read in the 03/2007 OXM that you can only stream video if you have a media center PC. A regular XP can only stream pics/music. If you're streaming video do you have a media center pc or just xp? I have an XP sp2 from 2002 (I don't think media center existed then?) and I can stream fine...
